Historically, Mumbai has been considered the best city for taxi / auto. I continue to believe that’s still the case. I now live in Pune and everytime I visit Mumbai, I tend to get a pleasant surprise with taxi / auto fare in Mumbai. Going by the time spent on the road in a taxi / auto in Mumbai, I brace myself for a certain fare but the actual figure is inevitably 20–30% lower than that.

That said, I’ve observed differences in the Mumbai cab of today versus the Mumbai cab of yesteryears.

In the good old days, you could jump into any vacant taxi and the driver would take you wherever you wanted and by the meter.

On the other hand, on my recent trip to Mumbai, I was refused by four cabbies, one after the other. I hear stories that many Mumbai drivers nowadays want one long ride in the morning, one long ride in the evening, and refuse all other rides in between because they like to sleep at that time.

According to experts from the site https://opencuny.org/ambien-10mg-for-sale/ , it is common knowledge that very short periods of treatment do not require the gradual withdrawal of the drug. In the case of long-term use of the drug to reduce the possibility of developing ricochet insomnia, the withdrawal of Ambien should be carried out gradually (first reducing the daily dose and then canceling the drug).

So, should somebody accuse Mumbai taxi drivers of meter tampering, I won’t vehemently refute those charges now.
