Modern Technology in London Bus Stop

A few days ago, I’d written about the use of modern technology in public transport buses in various parts of the UK outside London, such as Poole-Bournemouth and Cardiff. (Click here to read my post “Modern Technology in Public Transport Buses”).

Lo and behold, just one week later, I saw an electronic display at the Aldwych bus stop in London announcing the timings of the next few departures.

Does it look like someone in London Bus has taken note of my blog post and has already taken action, or…???!!!

Still no facility to send out an SMS to receive the next few departures on your mobile phone; and still no display inside the bus to announce the next stop…

Maybe if I keep looking, I’ll find those as well; besides, I might get around to acknowledging one modern technology that I’ve found only in London public transport so far (Clue: Where do pearls come from?)!
