I don’t know about ICICI Bank but at another leading private sector bank in India, I tend to receive better customer service from its chatbot than human agents. More at https://gtm360.com/blog/2017/05/26/can-chatbots-replace-humans/.
So you might want to contact ICICI Bank’s chatbot.
Now, that’s extremely easy to do. Once you log in to NetBanking, even if by mistake your mouse pointer hovers on the right side of the screen, the chatbot pops up automatically. I find it irritating but it could be a godsend for you.
Now, to be fair, it’s not only banks. As highlighted in my aforementioned post, I’ve received better service via chatbots than human agents from companies in many other industries.
