I use the “Embed Post” feature of X fka Twitter to bring my posts from there to my blog. For example,

TIL that LinkedIn also supports post embeds. Here’s the embed of the aforementioned post on LinkedIn:
Looks good! Should use it more often – in addition to or in lieu of Twitter Post embeds.
Only catch is that, it’s not so easy to find my posts on LinkedIn compared to Twitter. Although LinkedIn does have a search feature (click here to search my posts), it’s not as powerful as the advanced search on Twitter. For example, Twitter Advanced Search surfaces all my content, whether it’s my own post or reply to somebody else’s post or the two cents I added in my QT. Whereas LinkedIn Search surfaces only my posts, not comments on others’ posts.
While Twitter Advanced Search is a bit janky of late, I’ve been using it successfully for 10+ years.
I use Twitter Advanced Search on Desktop Web. For many keywords, it says “No results”. I noticed that the tab is on “Top”. If I click “Latest”, I see many results! Then, if I click “Top”, again I see many results.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that I use Twitter Advanced Search way more than Google Search, especially since the launch of ChatGPT nearly two years ago, after which my use of Google Search has drastically reduced.
Compared to that, LinkedIn Search sucks.
But let’s see if it improves over time.
