Here are a few of insights about GTM360 Blog:

  1. We published a total of 46 posts in 2020 on this blog.
  2. The Top 10 posts listed above (21% of total) garnered 49% of the total pageviews received by these 46 posts. While it seems disproportionately high for one-fifths of the content to pull in half the traffic, the frequency histogram on the right shows that our blog’s traffic pattern is still closer to a normal / bell curve than a power-law curve (where 20% of content would get 80% of traffic).
  3. Posts published on GTM360 Blog in 2020 got 14% of the total traffic generated by the blog in 2020. In other words, 86% of our blog’s traffic in 2020 was generated by posts published before 2020. This is a repeat of the same trend we saw last year. This shatters the common misconception that content has short shelf life and shows that good content can keep generating significant traffic many years after it’s published.

We hope you’re able to leverage these insights for your own blogs.
