Are you one of those who’d upgraded to broadband so that you could enjoy “Formula One” Internet speeds?<\/p>\n

According to a recent Financial Times article “In the Doghouse”, many such people are left in the slow lane. This article quotes a survey in which one in five customers was not getting the broadband speed they signed up for.<\/p>\n

At the end of the article, the writer recommends you to take your business elsewhere if your provider is unable to improve your connection. I wish the article contained a step-by-step guide on how to actually do this, considering that most broadband providers bind you into 12 or 18 month contracts. And, going by experience of a couple of friends, it’s very tedious and time-consuming to get out of such contracts even when the broadband service has completely broken down.<\/p>\n

PS: When I’d written “My London Broadband Experience”<\/a>, I was wondering when sky<\/strong> would change my subscription to the “mid” broadband package. Good news is that this has finally happened.<\/p>\n
