The different facts that had been pointed out here are very true from the attrition side of an insides sales guys.
starting from the first thing.
1. All inside sales guys are starving for knowledge only, cause they don't
want to be normal cold caller all their life.
2. The companies owner thinks that employing sales guys will do the work
but thats not true, they cant burden the sales guys under the pressure
of target, if they don't even know how to actually develop a marketing
mix and what are their offering's.
3. They have to help their sales guys by some back end client warming
process, only then the cold calling will work, actually its the difference
between COLD and WARM calling that they should understand.
4. All sales guys know that they had to develop database and do cold
calling, which actually increases their market knowledge only. But
the responsibilities should not be limited to these they should get
exposure to other presales and sales activities which will help them in
understanding the process and ultimately they will be able to bring more
    clients.
5. And about working conditions many of the sales guys are least bothered
as they just need a computer and a internet connection and they can
do the magic if trained in the right manner.

Thanks for such a great article, looking forward to read the part two of the article.

Cheers,
Harinder
